Everyone I know is so under appreciated
I never tell anyone just how much I love them
None of them know how badly I need them
And it shouldn't be like that.
To my friends, you are wise
And mighty and wonderful
You're all strong and I love you
I love you for being who you are
To my family, we aren't close
But we aren't far either.
We'll always have our blood to connect us
Thank you for being supportive in everything I do
To my acquaintances, how interesting you are
We're not quite friends
But we're not strangers either
The familiarity is comforting
To my love, I love you
I try to show you as often as I can how much I love you
And when I think I fail, I tell you
I can only hope you know how much I care
To everyone, you're all miracles
The smallest and often over looked
The greatest blessings in my life
I love you all.

Such a heartfelt write!
As you so wonderfully describe, our friends and family are blessings to us, and your poem truly expresses how much yours mean to you. We can only hope we tell/show them how much we care, so they know it in their hearts. Best of luck in the contest! ...JustBreathe

This one I really felt in my heart because it really came from yours. The next to last stanza is so perfect, we do try to show, sometimes tell, but all we can ever do is hope they know... The last stanza is wonderfully universal and wise. Great write, best of luck in the contest!
