often hard to describe..
a worldliness, an awareness, a completeness
you embrace life and all its grandeur
to its fullest extent
you are beautiful,
you are bountiful,
you are blissful,
and even in the depths of despair
you are a vision of beauty
you have lived your life without regrets
yet i know now you cant escape them
you give yourself without hesitation, unconditionally
to anyone who asks or just appears in need
you have lived an adventurous, accomplished
and multi-faceted life,
yet i know you are not done
you are not one to give up or give in to anything
yet to this, you must ultimately surrender
i share your fury...
my sadness overwhelms me
my helplessness consumes me
and yet my feelings pale in comparison
to those you are haunted with.
for this, my dear friend, i am so sorry
but never will i be sorry to have known you
to have been blessed with the opportunity
of being your friend
my life has been branded by you
and forever I will imagine you
watching over me and my girls
just like you promised

Tragic
This is a perfect tribute to our friend. It is very sad, but the last lines are absolutely golden. I can tell that Laura was an amazing person that has left a huge mark on your life and many others, and that losing her is the hardest thing you will ever do.

What a wonderful tribute to a friend! She seems like someone amazing who has touched you and many others in her life.
I am sadden that her life is gone due to this terrible disease.

thank you for your applause and comment...this peice was very hard to write, i imagine over and over in my mind the day i allow her to read this. she has very little time left and as much sadness i feel, im finding it hard to put my emotion into words...thanks again!!
