A pen is a tool
of writing perfection
writing the words
of my minds perception
Paper provides a place
to confess my lies
a getaway
from others eyes
A book is a cover
that conceals my soul
to cover a void
and make me feel whole
My poems are items
that show my heart
just takes a pen
to make it start

I like this one. =]. It's not happy nor sad. But maybe seems somewhat foggy? Well anyway. Yay, finally done with all the school poems. This one's fresh and from the heart, no promts or anything.

This seems so simple, but upon reading again it has so much meaning in it. I like the metaphors, but I would prefer more colorful adjectives to keep from overlooking the imagery.

This is very thoughtful and insightful. I like it, A LOT. I do have some suggestions which I'll send via IM once I collect my thoughts, but I like you metaphors. This took some deep thinking to compose. Well done.
