Station was busy, it was snowing.
I could hear the distance whistle blowing.
Train was bearing down, lights were glowing.
At the crossing, the train was coming around,
from Greenbush to South Station it was bound.
Snow was starting to pile up on the ground.
The commuters were excited with the sound.
Author notes
This past week the train came back to our community after many years of fighting it.

Great write. I liked the rhyming flow of this. Great imagery in this piece, too. I have always wanted to ride on a train, but have never gotten around to it in life. Keep writing.
