It takes a true nerd to have fun with a Thesaurus
And it takes a true geek to not be yourself...
In school, you'll see many a thing
the cliques, the classes, many of which life has to offer and bring.
What the world has for you to see, what what is a rather useful eye:
but will you become frightened? Will this beauty be denied?
You are capable of so many, many things.
Of beauty, of perfection, but what fun would that be?
God has made you this way, because he loves you so much...
he's done this all for you, with the smallest little touch.
Not many religious poets talk about it, but i'm sure many shall agree:
to not praise him would be awkward, it's just not UNnecessary.
To be yourself would be the true crime,
be something other what the creation of him, the kind
and great and awsome, the glorious is he:
He who gave you life, the one that made you see.
Author notes
...BECAUSE ALTHO I AM A SHADOW, MY GOD STILL SEES ME
------------------------------my own quote
i know i don't write many religion-based poems, but in the case that this is my first one, i do'nt think it's too terribly bad.
my mother being a pastor, i feel proud to speak of my God! and i'm hoping that no one will critiseize me for it.
The 'teen-aged shadow' bit simply means that i'm not very well noticed. (for those thinking awkwardly of me: a shadow talking about religion? i know it sounds weird, but it only means this poem is from the mouth of me; a person rarely heard.)

Thiis is sad, but full of hope. Never see yourself as a shhadow, no matter what. You are whole, flesh and bone, and so full of life. Your faith is yours, relish it. This was an amazinf write, and I hope you are proud of it.
Blessed be,
Billie Jean
