Gaze upon the wonder, Pain
See her skin covered with
The bruises of hateful words
Watch the crimson flow
From cuts crying for death
See the jeering crowd
Tear her battered body apart
Watch as the tears fall
From her eyes like rain
Falling from a black and purple sky
Pain no longer feels
She is cold, Nothing can thaw
Her ice-like heart now
As she shuts herself off from
Those who might love her
Author notes
Hmm its kind of like a companion poem to my poem Anger. I guess I am personifying the way feelings can define a person.

this is a really strong write i understand so much of this... i really like the part see her skin covered with the bruises of hateful words... that just reminds me so much of a question ive had for a long time why do people have to hate... its just so wrong to feel unwanted and that the only other way to excape reality is to cut or drink or do drugs but i dont do that part
