All in a Middle!

Should I
Would I
Could I?

Do I, Did I, Didn’t I
Shall I, Shan’t I; Will I, Won’t I
Can I, Can’t I, Couldn’t I… Might

May I?

No I can, yes I can’t
Will I, Won’t I, No I shan’t
Could I, would I, p’raps I will

If I had, did I do,
Am I going to
I will, I won’t, I must’ve should
I shall had, should will, would have you?
I willn’t, I walln’t, maybe ought
I’m all in a middle
Getting all fraught
Decisions, decisions, dilly dally dither?
Too many choices - I’m all aquiver!

This is really interesting. The different phrases and choices of words to show that there is nothing but completely confusion in all the choices that are made.

Thank you for entering and good luck

Well that was difficult to read. Quite the tongue twister. But you have definitley explored the possiblities of choice.

I encourage you to keep writing to read and comment.

A poem that will get the reader tongue tied but still keep them reading just because you don't know how it may end.

Good luck - let the ink flow and your fingers dance

Quite a humourous take on such a serious topic. But you're right, these words bounce around in our heads, all day, every day! You have pointed out with this how hard it can be sometimes as we have to also weigh up the consequences of all these choices.
Thanks so much for entering into our contes

Well done on a discripton of choices, I am still giggling for this is how it is most of the time in things we try to choose!
