Is She Real?
You just want to know
You just want... to feel her hair
To touch her hands
Is she a shadow?
A mirror to your dreams?
How can I know?
If she's a lie
Maybe she's alive
But suddenly she leaves
With the wind
With the truth
Leaving a memory
Leaving tears

A very interesting little poem that is well thought out and written.
Often when we meet a person we know so little about them so our mind will wander and fill in many of the missing parts of their life and soul. Then slowly as we get to know them and as we get to know them, the missing parts of their life and soul are replaced with reality.
However, if they suddenly leave, then we are left with ruptured emotions and unfilled dreams.

The shortness of the lines made the poem in itself seem a lot shorter than it really was, but i think in a way that this is a good thing. because, it is sudden, which reflects the end of the poem
Great write yet again =D

I think almost everyone can relate to the feeling of bumping against the one of your dreams, but not being able to hold on to that dream.
You have expressed that very well in this poem! thank you for entering, and I wish you the best of luck!

WAT A GREAT LOVE!!

Alas with so many love stories while it all seems like a pleasant dream our loves soon depart leaving us only with an empty hole in our hearts and a treasured memory.
I like the fact that you use a lot of questions in this poem because that's what love is about, after all.
It gives the impression of chasing illusions...which is what love is also about.
Thanks for entering and Good Luck!
