[ we had all that time together ]

we had all that time together
the feelings light and airy
you would tickle me like a feather
and I would kiss you like a fairy

i would splash you while you ducked under
you would dunk me while i tried to run
you grabbed me and said you would protect at the sound of nearing thunder
i would just push you away and continue to have fun

we never fought, we always would laugh
we hid on the roof of the dining hall
we threw the water balloon on his head and he would scream like a dying calf
no matter what we did, i always had a ball

then our time together ended
i thought that i would lay down and die
to you my heart was lended
when you left i just started to cry

ever since the end of camp
i've sat down at the computer all day waiting for your name to appear
you never are on and my eyes all always damp
i'm so tired of this game all i want is not to shed a single tear

am i not pretty enough
am i too fat for you
in your love i was trapped, you had me in cuffs
all i want is for you to love me too

Okay, this is totally fictional. But I'm not pretty... And I'm on the chubby side... No wonder I don't have a boyfriend...

    "to you my heart was lended" that sounds a little... off. Also, that's passive voice... which doens't make for an effective write. who lend your heart to him? the easter bunny? a flying turkey? santa? i mean, i get what you're trying to say, but that's not the best way to express it... that's just my opinion


    The poem is cute in its adorable way :-P something innocent about it.

    as for your author's comment... you're wrong (yet again, that depends on your age a little... if in middle school... well... kids are jerks)
    Chubbyness and looks arent what defines a person (i bet you're like... yeah yeah w/e) But really. You'll see. life will prove it. besides, you really don't wanna be in a relationship with someone who only is with you b/c of looks.
