**My Life**
My thoughts tear me down, and dreams have ebbed away. My life full of regrets, and scorned with abuse. My pain is so profound, Yet still I rise. © Cara L. Greenlee, All rights reserved Nov 5 1:08 PM 2007 http://allpoetry.com/poem/3576930

Wow. You and me both! These words are spoken so truly. We are never suppose to regret, they say it was what we wanted. Maybe it was - but the reactions of what we wanted was what we regret. Sometimes our dreams seem nothing more than an idea, and it hurts to dream and lose all hope. I am one who's mind never allows them a moment of peace, and I wish I could shut it off sometimes. There must be a reason why we think so damn much - I wish I knew it, but there must.
I am glad that there is hope at the end of your poem - we will always rise above all these challenges thrown in our direction as long as we don't let our fears interfere with our strength!
LOVE YOU
Sabrina

Very good.
Lift the self by the self, for the self is the selfs only friend, and the self is the selfs only enemy.

Guilty But I still Love You

You have done well here, your poem speaks to all who read it, no matter how life pushes you down, yet still I rise - great line and great ending, blessings John

It is true that the human being has this gift to rise above all adversity-another little miracle.
