Winter Works in it's God Given Time

And we stood naked in the road
The satelites passed over the snow
And we buried her by her favorite place
She smiled and kissed my face

And the hands we had, trembled from the cold
The fear of age wrapped around us for warmth
But she didn't think we'd ever grow old
Just keep ourselves the same through the storm

I laughed when she dug her fingers into my side
And you tucked your arms under her skin to survive
We buried her by her favorite place
We couldn't help but laugh at that funny face

We were on our knees beside her
The snow melted on our heatless skin
I smiled and watched her
You danced, and clapped your hands

And beneath a satelite that swam in space
We organized our bodies into a single place
She was beautiful and calm,
And we loved her like a sister,
And the soft turf turned inside out,
And filled itself back in, on top of her

We never left her there by the tree
Where she was born unto me
And the winter bellowed songs I still sing
This is the place where we were happy

We kissed her head
And she didn't believe it
The light really came
She said "There's a light behind everything"

Please tell me what you think
