They spent the cream of their lives,
Trying to make their children stable;
And as the setting sun arrives,
All they need is someone to be there.
All they need is someone beside,
To be there when a tear drops;
To be there when grief strikes,
And make their days brighter.
All they need from you is a smile,
That is more than priceless a gift;
That'll make them walk more than a mile,
And wipe off all their grievances.
To see that smile on their faces
Is in itself a priceless bliss,
But to create those smiles in the places,
Is an eternal act of kindness...
