The good old days

childhood memories:

sunday afternoons,

riding with Dad on his bike

- no seat for the dog.

Author notes

Picture inspiration - 15 words!
I don't know if you've noticed, but it is actually a Senryu (the last three lines). The Senryu is an explanation of the two words in the first line. As I needed 15 words for this contest poem ... lol.

    Brings back Memories

Your words are fresh and bring to my mind visions of the innocent pleasures of family & friends, (man & beast!)
I enjoyed this read. You have a way with the economy of words--which I admire and would like to be more disciplined in this way.

    Best of luck,
    David

Actually, first thing that came into my mind was in fact that it is a Senryu (except first line then, but that's some kind of intro to the form)

Ah, those childhood memories if only we could turn back time to relive all these beautiful moments

Thank you Legend. I don't know if you've noticed, but it is actually a Senryu (the last three lines). The Senryu is an explanation of the two words in the first line. As I needed 15 words for this contest poem ...

I forgot to mention this in my Author Notes. Anna.
