There is a Battle Raging inside of me, a collision that resides in me
Both Dark, and Light, fighting for control
The Dark trying to engulf the Light, The Light trying to destroy the dark
These two parts rage on in a battle for ever told, no one ever winning why must it be so cold…
Some times the dark poisons the light, that’s when I get angry and strike
The Light also smashes the dark, that’s when I feel love and compassion
The dark, the light, the battle, they strike
They fight, they rage on, no one gone, on and on,
They battle who will win, I don’t know, the sin.
They rage forever more, two opposing forces; they shall not rest until there is one.
Why does the conflict never end Why must it rage on?
On, and on, neither gone, forever on
The dark, and the light just can’t understand that there are apart of one
They are my sons; they belong to me, not apart and free
I see only one way, to stop this array
I must forget this battle, I must fuse the two
Both Dark and light fuse to a whole, they are apart of one, they are the sons
I must fuse them within my soul, so that they cannot battle, it must end
But I fear the two strong
They don’t understand how they make a whole; it’s not an easy choice
But they must join, and fuse, or else I shall loose
I shall loose control of my sanity, I will either become Dark or Light, I will be broken
Forgotten, shattered, and battered, gone, forever, I will no longer be me.
Don’t you see? In the end you cannot destroy apart of yourself. Dark versus Light
You are who you are…
