Watch the Lily’s Pendulum
Swinging from the highest drift
Hovering in the wind she does
Smiling for a noble cause
She stops a moment, Laughs to hide
Wings non-existent to mankind
In laymen’s terms, a pure petal
Of Lily fair, the morning’s gold
Jet brunette with hair so crisp
Hiding behind hibiscus
A dance and song for garden kept
The world knows nothing of God’s sent
She smiles at her trickery
Covered in pollen’s mystery
Dangling from the highest peak
A drop, a fall on pansies meet
Skirts do trail across the path
White petals do glisten last
On the leaf, she does resume
She is the Lily’s Pendulum

Your description is wonderful here. I like how you almost rhyme the words but not quite, and it has a good rhythm to it too. Very nice! =D

This is beautiful--so many vivid images and wonderful rhythm! Good luck in the contest!

I like this, I could actually see her dance, her smile, u have done a really good job. The title quickly caught my eye, and ur write flowed nicely so I could read it without thinking about deleting this. Good job
