Myth Of Heart Re-shaped

Dawn's breath upon life's face
seems reminiscent to that
of a baroque prisoner
held captive amid the glistening dew

Solemn, yet not tainted
free to drift on the tide of change
to reach, to inspire, to touch the heart
of a soul in desperate need of comfort

walk into its embrace without calloused hands
and trust that love will abide in no forged mould.
