Your Shadow Wakes My Bird To Sing

Missing image
Drip my love in tongues of sunshine,

petals scenting crystal orbs of capsuled wishes,
drawing feather's fragile, quilling fingers
laced to linger in cascading dreams, our awakening wind, murmuring music.

In raising eastern wing above all fear, to soar your holiness,
I quench my thirst for watered wilderness, caressing green to marry blue,
as woven blush in flower's mind, spinning shadow's fragrant buzz.

Trust your aching skin to carry, braver blending, as stem to middle;
strumming string to pull, our panting pistil's wilder child, playing innocence.

For I have eyes to bare my heaven, in silhouetted lips to swallow morning.

Excellent penning, Rich. I'd have given you the gold, as well, my dear Friend. Beautifully stated, serene & sensual. Congratulations, Scribe. Wanda

    Pure Song

    quenching drops of sunshine
    holds green till married blue
    embraces prize of morning eyes
    rich gem of turqoise hue

    a wilder child of innocence
    finds meadow's fragrant ethers
    warming dawn and dewborn smiles
    in softest touch of feathers

where strums of heart, a garden
    paints wilderness and streams
    incalescent heaven sings
    sweet Rocky Mountain dreams

    Beautiful and bookmarked!

That is truly gorgeous and beautiful. Very long lines though. Maybe you can break it down after the contest ends? Very beautiful, Rich. Very.
