happy birth day is a lie
the time of the year that reminds us we're all gonna die
one more year older
one more reminder it’ll soon be all over
silence will consume our heart
eternity will tear us apart
as we helplessly watch our self deteriorate
for a future unknown we anticipate
we're all condemned now we must wait
let's make believe there's a heaven gate
to give meaning to our work in vain
let us celebrate and pretend to mend the pain
as the gap between us and internal peace grows wider
our eyes grow dimmer
for the so-called gruesome dark future we fret
"you live and you learn" ( resentment, regret )
happy birth day is a lie
the time of the year that reminds us we're all gonna die
one more year older
one more reminder it’ll soon be all over
lets hope our soul will soar
till we unveil celestial shore
and it be home we pray
eternal peace to never celebrate again, another birth day

A perfect dark write. Although I didn't quite like the negativity of a happy birthday, I should say you've masterfully managed to weave it all with such wonderful use of words that I have to admit I did enjoy reading it all through. Thank you for entering!
