A Mobilized Sculpture

Her body is a work of art,
each curve sculpted to aesthetically pleasing
perfection.
Her smooth, silky skin is painted white;
No brush strokes can be seen.
The artist took his time fashioning her,
his sun-kissed forehead wrinkled in concentration,
spending hours agonizing
over which shade of blue (azure)
to use for her eyes.
The gentle slope of her nose
was crafted with tender care,
each arch and angle smoothed and molded to
perfection.
Her full, burgundy lips took hours to refine.
She stands there with an immaculate pout.

Now she poses in a window, a doorway;
Walks around for all to see.
Everyone else looks like a child's drawing
compared to her.
She has no childish coloring
outside of the lines.
She's the epitome of precision.
