you say i'm pretty
but i don't see what you see.
these hips that you hug
are much too wide
and my butt sticks way out there.
these hands that you hold
are much too knobby
and my arms are much too 'thick'.
what is it that you see
when you look at me?
surrely its not this girl
staring back at me?
theres scars galor
and achne aplenty
my skin is far from soft.
my tummy's not flat
not many muscles are honned
but still here you stand
holding my hand
offering a smile.
you hold me close
tighter than any
but sometimes
i want to pull away.
i know that you
don't have a problem
but still i am ashamed.
what do you see?
its not what i see.
that girl in your arms
is she really me?
how can you see so differant
what i've seen
all of my life?

and im not looking for compliments.

megan, your beautiful, and i dont know why u dont see it, if i thought otherwise than you would of noticed, but i dont, i hug and kiss and touch and hold and love every inch of you. your beautiful, nomatter what you think you see in that didry mirror...
i never got why you love me and my body and i still dont but it doesnt bother me because you do infact love me and you dont have a problem with my looks. i love you meg, and nomatter what you will always be beautiful to me.
