Always There

Those times when I'm alone,
When I feel no one hears me,
I know you are there.
Sometimes I just want to scream,
To make them notice me,
But when it all comes down to it in the end,
It doesn't matter.
I know you hear me,
I know that you understand what I feel.

Thank you Lord,
Thank you for being there.
For always watching over me
And for never leaving.
You'll be the one constant in my life.
For this I thank you and love you.
Forever and always you'll be my God
And forever and always you'll be there.

    An enjoyable piece...

An enjoyable piece; we all experience those moments of loneliness - don't let them consume you; faith is a powerful agent that assists us to move beyond circumstance; thankfully, He is always there. --Joe

Sentiments easy to read and understand in these lines -lots of you and me's in these two verses; not sure if some could be left out or not. God is there for all, they just need to have faith.

The first stanza explains the background very clearly - there is loneliness, fear etc. and it provides that reader with exactness of human feeling. Your second stanza the revelation - what you hold on to what you believe and the 'promise' you make. I enjoyed its honesty and openness - its offers both hope and strength. Good luck with the contest. FransB

    awesome

i can feel your words deep down inside of me , yes it is true that we feel all alone sometimes and mayse we don't realize that the lord is up there watching over us and feeling our pain as well and he even hurts knowing that we do but all we have to do is start talking to him and he is more that willing to listen to us along with all the tens of thousands of angels with him as well , even though sometimes we feel alone the lord is always there

    NIce,

Sometimes I really wonder if those I think care, really do.. I guess that kind of answers my question in itself. Thanks for sharing, all the best in this contest. Peace~
