When I Die

When I die will I be remembered
Or forgotten,
As if their mind was hindered?

Will there be love?
Or strife?
For that could be the reason I was taken from this life.

Will you sit out and stare unto the sun
Or for some reason will life become undone?

When I die will there be memories of the past?
For we all know I cannot last.

Will you sing hyms to honor my name
Or will you look at life, always the same?

When I die will my past life mirror my sins
Or will it be a fresh start
Just waiting to begin?

As I grow numb
I remember your eyes.
So before I bid you fairwell
My heart flies

If my love was ever known
Bring me back
Take me home.

A thoughtful write. Lovely depth of feelings. These are questions that all of us have pondered at one time or another. Good flow and tone. Well penned.

Wow, think we all ask these things at some time, ours is not to know how and why but to move in peace and leave the most precious gift ever - memories. You record these questions and feelings well in great poetic take, well done -PEACE now!x
