True Friend

My best Friend is someone,

Someone who looks me through.

My best friend is honest,

So honest that no lies will accost you.

My best friend is sweet,

Sweeter than pie.

My mom will always say,

"your the sweetest, no lie!"

My best friend is true,

True as the deep blue.

My best freind is understanding,

simplistic poem that sends the message to your best friend. I guess the only thing that one should consider is if this is the end of the poem and if you want to give this person's identity or go another direction, as it is hard to think of more things this person is.

    Great Tribute to your Mom

I came here to return the favor - the content of this poem is beautiful - the rhyme is ok too - a little forced - the flow a little bumpy - and it may need a last line - or the second last line should be exchanged with the last line "And deep as true blue" just a suggestion - all in all great - keep on keeping on - Bless God - Joe

    I like this one!

What is the next line? It feels like there should be another line after "My best friend is understanding?" Also you spelled "Freind" wrong in the last line. I think you mean't "Friend." Other than that I think it is a nice poem that flows well, and has an interesting message. Keep on writting!

I found the best way to work on my writting, is by writting a Novel. Give it a try, and you never know where you might end up!
