A lady who lived in Prestatyn???
took an evening class in pig latin
but it got out of hand
no one could understand
when she spoke with her pig latin hat on
So she tried speaking welsh for a bit
but after a while she just quit
and the last that I heard
she spoke every word
in pure esperanto??? was it.
Had a couple words got me there!!!

Thank you. Prestatyn's in Wales. I've never been there, but it rhymes with Latin, and that's good enough for me. Only one correction:
In pure Esperanto, as writ.
But your version is just as sensible
I'mway oinggay otay otequay Eway BAY Itewhay
"Omesay Igpay!" (at'sthay away ideryspay itewray)
Orwellway, (otnay inway away equelsay)
Aidsay "omesay igspay areway oremay equalway
Anthay othersway" (I'mway otnay uresay at'sthay ightray) -

W O W ...
Very well done Keith....
Reading this poem made me laugh, but it also gave me a headache. English is already hard enough for me. This 'igpay atinlay' is even worse...
I need a paracetamol now and I have to lie down for an hour. At least, I hope that's enough for me to recover...
"I'mway otnay uresay fiway at'sthay ightalray!!!" lol. Good luck in the contest... there might not be many entries, I think. Although...
Anna.
