Counting every moment ~
falling to the floor
in shades of pale
breathless
silent...
The scent of sorrow
bitter and defined
curling around my ankles
with the strength of winter's smirk.
Truth unveils
like the fragrance of tomorrow
yellow and raw
he doesn't love me...

Simple floetry, bittersweet emotions & impacting words, & awesome to read a piece like this...

Truth unveils
like the fragrance of tomorrow
yellow and raw
he doesn't love me...
realization hits hard...
I love this piece from start to finish.

Yes, those petals can be so truthful at times, yellow or white, they seem to make one's day, or not make it, whichever it may be. Liked the flow and the take on this theme you have penned here.
