There's a letter in the local' every week, a complaint
from an 'Irate' and 'Disgusted' with 'Concerned' and 'Dismayed'.
As the buses and the cars en route into town say...Apparently a voice against the ARTISTS panel...In Daubs We Trust to present each other...Shows what's going on, eh?. Now the Council sends their summons stating object vandalisms, effects are given well, then taken with a nasty tone. Destroying all works as we're a free venture, our only prize's display, entry and signature...Not forgetting a collective heart, dedicated through the world of empathy! Know domination of the small-time cripples industry. We carry on under danger of arrest, but I contest; what we do is TRUE, and naturally seeded in the scheme of things, LIVE in the city...It's not all major, but disease of attitude kills CREATIVITY...not to mention all the COSTS to the concrete! Paid with SOUL, hosting this melee THE LIKES OF ME stand, and always endure! Looking after...LOVE, 'Delayed'.
Author notes
Dedicated to all the idiots from The Council who've nothing better to do than to try and cut us down

This has a special tone and input, I enjoyed the speech effect with all the excellent word choice that carry the srong message through. Very well done I love the "Bretchnien" idea.

Strong prose entry. Do you mean across the world of Apathy? If the building or the wall is yours to do with what you will, then how do the complaintants have a leg to stand on? The content put me in mind of Bertolt Brecht's poem "Not What Was Meant."

interesting
I was going to reserve talking to you until the contest ends, but you've got loads of entries, so my anon' status doesn't matter to me...I hope you don't mind
I've re-looked at my write since writing it (it was a splurge) and I do think it lacks some background, yet I like the way it pans out, so I won't try and make sense of the narrative within the write until your contest is over
on your questions...'empathy' was deliberate, for the arts we host link us with the wider World, and no, we can't do what we want to the building, it's garden, or the railings surrounding even though we take care of it, because we rent it
