Curled in bed, crying a bit
So many feelings, I cannot fit
Them in my heart, wanting sincerity
Because I missed the opportunity
Although everything seemed so right
Every moment, every tear at night
Every hug, every kiss, every I love you
At least now I know that what I said was true.
You exhaled your last breath, I remember it vividly
I hugged you and held your head softly
Remembering all the good times, and the bad
But here’s a thought that took away all the sad.
You have moved on, I’m sure
But it will be paradise enough to lure
Anyone into that happy place
Into that great, peaceful fate
You always held me, hugged me near
And when I was in trouble, you said, I’m here
You were the light in my dark tunnel
You gave me life, while you and I cuddled
Endless days and nights, I am grateful for each
Baking a pie, peeling a peach
Your life seemed so perfect, so delicate, filled with peace
Now I am grateful, since you are at ease.
It may have been the last breath you exhaled
It may have been the very last tale
But you have left a footprint in my heart
That helped my life never fall apart
So I am grateful for each moment passed
For all your support when I was harassed
Now I just want you to be happy
And I know you are, while you are with Him.

Wellp, I hope your friend feels better, and I wish the best for her. I sort of know how it feels. Anyway, I hope that this will help, and although I don't know her, I'll have her grandmother and her in my prayers tonight. Get well soon.

I sort of know how it feels, since I lost my granpa, and a very close friend to my family, and me. So I hope this poem can help your friend see that her granmother is in a better place. Get well soon.
