To all who work in here
And unemployment fear
It's not that bad
We all at least get paid
So don't be too dismayed
It's not that bad
And new jobs can be found
In numbers that astound
It's not that bad
So stop your griping moans
About your mortgage loans
It's not that bad
Sure all the bosses stink
It seems they never think
It's not that bad
But payday gets here soon
Then we are over Moon
It's not that bad
To escape misery
Just win the lottery
It's not that bad
If you've ten million quid
Who cares what you once did
It's not that bad!!!

I fear that this is a bit near the mark. The Great British dream is to win the lottery and be able to buy the DVD set of "Big Brother".
