long curve and head erect
buffy recline by the pool
arrogant and almost sensual
your image shines to reflect
send back a naked form
will Narcissus censure or discredit
leg bent in trifling frivolity
mirror what you should always be

This is a strong image with an interesting conclusion. Thanks for entering the group contest!

Youth and vanity are fit companions, however, it can't last. The last two lines reflect the heartbreak of aging; nice use of imagery here.

I love this tale of self admiration to the utmost extreme. It certainly keeps my ego in check! Anyway, this is beautiful. It is a verry concise, concrete image. Well done! Good luck in the contest!

Interesting
I have managed to get through my life never hearing this before, so I found it quite interesting. I love it when I learn something. Good luck in the contest!

A beautiful tale you wove here, full of imagery and metaphor. You paid homage well to this most conceited God.
Blessed be,
Billie Jean
