Why Barter?

Your grass if just as dense; the same hue
you should focus on you; times two
not another's goals and dreams
compete against yourself
why barter your lot?
just be content
live your life
barter?
why?

oh yeah...sometimes we are not contented with what we have...but when we have what we already desired we realized that what we had before is already good...very nice poem...especially the metaphor and the form....

Nice metaphor, and great job of making a sonnet and making it read smoothly.

i love the metaphor for the grass and that you manage to use it without being cliche... you've executed the form quite expertly!
