the leaves are falling,
and are as beautiful as shooting stars
they flip around in the wind
and the sun beams off of them
its as if they know where
they are going
and know what
they are doing when they get there
I wonder how they look in the night air
are they just as beautiful?
do they fall quite as fast?
Its almost as knowing if a
tree makes a noise when no one
is around if it falls
but oh how beautiful
the leaves become after October in Louisiana

A nice tribute to Lusian'. Been the New Orleans seen, the graves above ground, Preservation Hall and Pete Fountain. A land of many colors and cultures. Thanks for your entry. David Wright

I remember how they looked back in Massachusetts. Trying to catch them as they fall into their predestined destinations before being raked into a pile only to be dispersed by the weight of two brothers playing in the leaves in October in Massachusetts.
