Kelle, you have been on my mind today. I can't help but shed tears when i see this video of Matthew. My heart breaks for you my sister. you are still on my prayer list. If I could wish anything for you, I would wish you Jesus...more than anything!

My goodness, this was more than a delight to view! I was drawn to tears really,but reading your poetry has uplifted me especially in the ways you have expressed your grief and love for your beloved son. i was sent here by ears2hearyou.. i wrote a poem called breate me to life. and she said that my voice needed to be heard by more people. the poem was about a woman who died of an overdose, about those who loved her..
i want to say that i was brought to tears by this poem. it is inspirational and at the same time incredibly heartbreaking. someone very dear to my heart does drugs, my father. and he brings himself closer to the grave every day. it is hard for me to write. even harder to watch your video. but i applaud you both for telling the story and paying tribute to a young man who was taken before his time. your story really touched me and i am so sorry about your son.
death claims those who do not deserve to die. i am sure that he watched over you as a guardian angel.

Hope your life is getting back to normal after your loss. I to had some family member died. I miss them very much. One of my Grandmothers died when I was 3, my oldest brother died in 2003, and one of my uncles died in 2004. Oh and lets not forget my best friend that died in 2004.

Sorry, I can't respond to this from a poetic or critical point of view. Sorry you lost your kid. I've lost a couple of beautiful little girls. There are no words to explain the profound experience of grief. Sadly.

Your video made me feel what my mother must have felt to lose a son some 26 years ago. I can remember the vague look on her face for some time. I cannot fathom how your heart must ache. I am in tears because I tend to take on the pain of others. My heart is torn at your loss and there are no words that could ever reach the height of your love and feelings at this time. My prayers and meditations are always with you. By the looks of this video, Matthew was loved, and he loved back. Know that he rests in the arms of a Savior that loved him even more than you, if that is possible, it is so. Be comforted in knowing that God knows the amount of grief you suffer and He has sent comforting angels to be around you. Embrace them. Be blessed my sister and know that I am here to be that shoulder or ear when you are in need.
