Epiphany's Frosty Limerick

Missing image
He wrote of the woods, stopping by,
Frosted verse of the winter's soft sigh,

when his horse gave a shake
from the downy, soft flake,

that for some reason, startled his eye.

Author notes

Your title left me in no doubt as to the poet and poem you were referring to - cleverly executed.  Von - Oldpoetry

An excellent offering in this competition which, even without the explanatory note, focussed this reader straight on target. You have accurately referenced much of Frost's original poem into your own verse.
    Well done and good luck.

I think Robert Frost would have smiled at this limerick - nicely done!
