Moon Shine

The moon shines down on the desert ground,
floating over our heads.
Freely gliding there so the whole world could see.
Catching a glimpse of the big shining star.
The yellow object in the sky,
we see it every night.
After the sun sets and fades,
in comes the moon.
Peacefully circling the earth,
It descends in the morning.

I like this poem, its very tranquil and moody. I love how you connect a lot of your freestlye poetry with nature, it makes it so like down-to-earth and just relatable because you can see and imagine the images you are creating and it brings back memories of times you have seen what you are talking about.
This poem is especially nice, it has a nice cycle and reads well. Nice phrases!
