The little lizard he did get loose
Poor little thing lost in the house
Not the kind of pet I would choose
He scurries away like a little mouse
Little green reptile, my he gave me a fright
Seems he was confused thought my leg a tree
I hopped about and swatted at him with all my might
In my pants he did almost make me pee
Oh what a shock it was to find
Off went the jeans and he did scurry up
Me screaming he must be blind
That's not a leave it's my cup
Get off of me you silly thing
Oh no please not the hair
Please will you leave if I sing
I don't care just get him out of there
Doing a jig and standing half nude
My hubby when he saw just laughed
" Here I thought you were a prude"
"Oh shut up and help, there's an awful draft"
With a laugh and good guffaw
He did remove it from my hair
Though he held on with every claw
So cute and yet he gave me a scare
How did he get loose in the house
Well that's easy you see
Two little boys dropped him on my blouse
Then off he ran to be free
Only later to come back
Just to frighten me out of my slacks.
