Closing in on something I don't want,
a breath lost to the overcome weakness.
Death in the eyes of the spirits,
and vivid frames of unhappiness.
You have created a shadow of what I was,
a shell empty from your lack of love.
No freedom to the soul given,
your just the phase that holds me down.
I'm drowning in depression,
don't let me go any deeper than I am.
I'm taking in water and no air left for me,
I am dying inside from deflation of life.
You are the cause of my misfortune,
a creature that drags me out of exsistance.
I don't want this kind of disruption,
my life out of balence as it is.
I would rather be alone,
so let this be my last regret.
You and your notions are no longer,
for now I feel the beat of my heart again.

I loved this poem i did you are an awesome writer the words so true to my own personal story of why i am throwing this contest and by far had this been a full length poem contest you would have been top notch but this is a 25 WORD CONTEST sorry but thank you for taking the time to write this it has been helpful
