Planted within life’s soul,
growing awaits future’s mature amidst
mellow of tranquillity.
Floating over fire’s warmth, love
stirs within germ’s mystique the sound
of true awakening.
Life’s lack of wisdom brings
death through pain of heart’s decay,
unlike nurture’s peace that awards joy
when understanding erupts through knowing its nucleus.

Congratulations on the bronze trophy Fran!
I loved this poem, its meaning is very true, most people go through life not even wanting
to know what it's about. You captured this beautifully.
I won gold in this contest also. The picture was enchanting and inspiring.
God bless my friend.

Beautiful picture
I enjoyed the words you used a very intriguing write. like these stance;
"Floating over fire’s warmth, love
stirs within germ’s mystique the sound
of true awakening."

Hmm...interesting. I think the second stanza is the most beautiful, but the third stanza says the most. "Life's lack of wisdom" - that's a nice way of putting we know nothing and I agree. We think we know everything, but in the end what we do know tends to be trivial and in the whole scheme of life and death doesn't mean a lot.
Anyway, thanks for your entry and good luck in the contest
