Kitchens, a dangerous place.

Isn't it eye-opening,
the amount of unbalance

in one emotion, one dish;
my apathy.

1. Heat oven to 450 degrees,
the heightened senses, a euphoria of glowing gas.

2. Bake until well done,
since then a film has hardened.

3. Chill for five hours,
let numbness take its toll.

Or, the old fashioned way:

1. Broil violently,

let hysterics flavor.

2. Saute if needed,

drunken stupors add a charming spice.

3. Display this well,

dress it up nice.

Conjure up an appetite for anyone,

 even a cook must like his meal.

Clean up and let your bland waitresses serve,

hope the customer has not left,

such a dinner must not go to waste.

Author notes

So this is for Jared, had to write a poem on apathy, took it really weirdly, sorry =]
