Entwined within feathered wings,
Cradled to the arms that reach,
Hand to hold tight,
In fear of letting go.
Darkened shadows weep silent a tear,
Etched a frozen expression,
Captive to the web,
Enticed in the trap.
Brighten by the daylight,
Swooped by the wings of emotion,
Shoulder rests a weary head,
Nestles snug to her loving warmth.
Is this heaven their resting place,
Or the beginning,
Two lovers journey,
of wonderment and discovery ?

Beautiful and fully deservant of the HM !
The last stanza I find especially well done, with great finishing lines.

This is wonderful, very emotional. I love the romance and hope of the last stanza. Best of luck in the contest!
