season my life with love

Winter:
The snow falls thick, drowning my screams
from pain and loss, corrupted dreams
Christmas memories of blinding pain
a child never to be the same again
a nightmare of passion, what did it mean?

Spring:
Little lambs run around, chicks dance in the sun
i sit alone in my bed, wondering what i've done
i cry myself to sleep tonight
my best friend left me ,out of spite?
but i know now it was best, for her to run

Summer:
Half naked bodies lie on the beach, soaking up the rays
i sit with my friends, smile at the sea, remembering the days
when i tried to die, to end it all
but i live for a reason, to answer his call
so much to live for, to find, to set ablaze

Autumn:
Leaves from the trees fall to the ground, giving up all hope
but i found my baby, my one true love, the one that helps me cope
all the pain that i once felt disappears with your touch
i never thought you'd love me so damn much
i love you with all my heart, let's get married, lets elope.

4 seasons,
4 reasons
that i grew, became wise
from pain and nothing
to love and a life

Author notes

there has been an event in every season throughout my life,(the events didn't happen one after the other btw) that has had something to do with who i am now
all 4 seasons are involved with me changing from someone that noone liked, to an amazing person,
i am proud of myself
and summer, winter, autumn and spring, all have a great significance in my life.

This is such a great poem! I really like how you wrote about 4 seasons of feelings. Thanks for keeping to a reasonable amount of lines! You may want to check your punctuation a bit more, but there was nothing aweful about it. Thanks for explaining yourself in the AN.. it helped me to appreciate the poem better. Thank you very much for entering, and good luck!
