Pale skin blending into snow and oak,
the fair contrast a perfect match for the life and death surrounding it,
Steps through a domain of cold and heat,
fire under layers of oak,
ice on the surface,
Both hold the same characteristic that is in her every move, her every trait,
The expectation of eventual decay, but the promise of the renewal of life.
Author notes
I chose nene thomas' fairy Hope, and love is a battlefield. This might be a little more abstract then you wanted, but I had fun...and I think fairies are in general abstract so, eh, it matches. : )
