that time of year I can pretend to be some one else.

as if I don't do that already.
Halloween,
that time of year that I can scare people beyond all nightmares.
Halloween,
and of course, they still worry about my sanity in the light.
Halloween,
one more brightly decorated lie to show off to the world.
Halloween,
I think I like this lie a lot more than the one before.
Halloween,
stage makeup washes down my painted, twisted face.
Halloween,
When the cops drive up, I'll just turn and walk away.
Halloween,
I'm a disappointment of holiday as I speak it into breath.
Halloween,
The air thick with murder, blood, and death.
Halloween,
I am the mass-murderer, keep your children far and safe!
Halloween!
For all you damned mortals, WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?
HALLOWEEN!
THE LAST CHANCE TO RUN AND HIDE YOUR SOUL!

EAT YOUR DAMN CANDY, YOUR LIFE WILL BE THY TOLL!

I love Halloween, it's the time of the year that next to everyone parties, gets dressed up (or even down), and goes out to either scare, or be scared! Happy Halloween, everybody!
And make it a safe one. Every year dozens of children are abducted, raped, assaulted, injured, and even murdered. Not to mention the just as equally in many as adults.
The mask might be a happy one, but it's to whether or not that is a real knife that should have you wondering...

A most excellent write, indeed. You've expressed your thoughts quite well. It's hardly safe for anyone to go trick or treating anymore. Probably better to have home; school, or faith based supervised parties, instead of going door to door.

I am most definitely all geared up for Halloween this year, although my costume.. if it does scare people, would be more because I'M in it. HAHA!
This is great.. right to the point, and for some strange reason reminded me of "The Joker" from the most recent Batman film. GREAT write! Have a good one as well.

rofl. i LIVE for halloween!!!! rawr! rofl. Vally Fair, a huge theme park up here in MN (much like 6 flags) turns in to Vally Scare complete with over 20 haunted houses and just a whole bunch of scary crap. It's amazing. and true about not knowing who is real or fake.....just dont drink the cidar and dont eat any apples!

anyways I looove this...it starts off soo sweet and happy...and turns up into this violent...and animalistic[hopefully I spelled that right

I kinda took the whole duo-personality thing from a scientific study. It was a study that showed that most murderers have double personalities, one a soft kind side, and the other is the hack em and slash em side. The perfect Jackle and Hide which makes it all the better for halloween
Ha. I have about an ounce of humor for every ounce of attention span I have. A grand total of 0 But if other people beg to differ... Then it's all good! XD It's like telling your great great aunt Cassie that she smells like cookies when she really smells like a litter box...!
