It's so hard to say goodbye.
We've wasted so much time,
And it's come down to this.
We could have been perfect friends,
Telling of how our days have been,
But I wouldn't know such bliss.
We could have hated each other,
Dreaming of exchanging a shudder,
And playing evil little tricks.
But we can no longer be in love,
For we differ a little too much.
I will not need to taste your kiss.
Years of trying have gone away,
And I no longer want this pain.
Ao one last tear shall now drip.
