MIRROR TRICK THE EYE AND BEND THE LIGHT SO THAT I CAN NEVER SEE ME FOR WHO I AM
MIRROR USE YOUR SMOKE TO CLOUD WHAT STANDS THERE ADD POUNDS AND MAKE MY NOSE LOOK BIGGER MAKE MORE SPOTS THAN THERE REALLY ARE, MIRROR KEEP YOUR RUSE TILL I'M TOLD THE TRUTH.
MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL IF I WAS THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL LET ME THINK IM JUST TO TALL OR THAT I'M NEVER AS GOOD AS I COULD BE SO I CAN MAKE PEOPLE LOOK AT ME AND TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD BE.
MIRROR MIRROR LET ME LOOSE SELF CONTROL AND SHOUT UNDER INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL IN MY HOME AND BREAK YOUR FACE TO HIT AT THE PERSON STANDING THERE WHO I HATE THE PERSON WHO'S FACE IS LIKE MINE BUT DRAINED OF BEAUTY.
MIRROR KISSES ARE AS SWEET AS LIME BUT WE CRAVE TO BE KISSED.
MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL WHO IS REALLY THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL? IS IT THOSE WITH THE PERFECT FACE AND FIGURE OR IS THE PERSON WHO LOVES WHO LOOKS BACK?

It's weird but as I was reading this, I was getting both a positive and a negative side to mirrors; one being that it disguises, confuses, slyly deceives, and upsets deliberately - but then on the other hand, can do good when it's telling the truth ... you told both sides of the story well for me, even if that wasn't your original intention. well done on this, and thanks for sharing it with us!

Very heart felt this piece you have written here
I feel its not the person on the outside that truly tell it all its the person from within the person the mirror never sees unless you let the mirror in. Its the soul within a person that makes them beautiful on the outside how you portray yourself through love and kindness that truly makes a person shine . If hate is held within it tends to grow and in the growing it reveals to others only a shadow of that person . To be beautiful show the love within for those about us shine above the dark thoughts and shadows and in doing so your life will bloom in such a beautiful refection everywhere and to all . For our forms are the keepers of the soul so if we nourish the soul the form that holds it will shine of beauty and grace

Wow!! This actually says a lot!! You've highlighted many issues and social stresses in here... I can relate to a few of them... looking in the mirror and seeing something that wasn't actually there. Or looking in the mirror and feeling fine, only to walk away a feel ugly... it's what you feel inside that you project onto that image!
I really love the end message in this. A perfect face and body means nothing if the inside isn't beautiful and whole!

I see sadness and humor in this write. For some that mirror can be a curse for others, well they are beautiful so who needs a mirror. Do we really know beauty?
