As Real As

Sea shells sing into my ears
For just a moment forget the tears
Not like crashing of the waves
Nor sounds of cities in the rush
Softness as a teenage blush
Sighs of women's pleasure ring
Quietly now as if to pray
Dream the dreams
That sooth the soul
The world itself takes it's toll
Breezes by sightly noticed
Felt deep within my moment here
A dream of you in mornings light
Yet another sound has lived
Touching slightly
The sound of silence
Voices faint within the fog
A sleeping breath aside my cheek
Reflecting firelight within your eyes
Wonderous sounds real to me
Under the stars just you and me
This is the way a dream should be
