Dull Mindlessness

There is no reason, no preconceived plan
the brilliance abounds, a blinded man.
Quickly scrawling, skipping blindly
simply frowning, ignoring kindly.

No Rhyme is attributed to quitter's strife
no use is given to a quitter's life.
Mumbling and Bumbling are
too easily shut out-no attention necessary

none at all

There are exams missed, quizzes schluffed,
appointments broken, mouths stuffed

For what reason does the blank mind ignore
the quick prompts and gentle gestures.

The class dwindles but not the list
giggled answers turn to dust
as his destroys
the very lungs that speak out destinies
