I was asked to define beauty,
In a way I don't know how,
Beauty is a word,
Amongst all the rest,
That everyone has their meaning of,
Beauty could be grace,
A well written poem,
A woman who's hair caresses her jaw line,
Beauty could be anything and everything,
So what is beauty?
How can it be defined?
Is there an answer,
To what beauty is.
If beauty is defined in a dictionary,
As an elegant woman,
With piercing eyes,
Does it go for everyone?
I would think not,
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
Beauty can be anything,
Not just a person,
Or even a word,
Now I must ask you,
Can beauty be really defined??

Actually happened. The teacher asked us to define beauty and well I didn't quite have an answer so I wrote something like this on the page and gave it to her.

Hmmm... well I didn't really enjoy this piece. I didn't like the free verse style and I thought it could have been much deeper. Sorry thanks for entering though.
