Parodies of the smirks
Through the empty alleyways
in the pitch-black hearts
Of the Queen of spades.
The fluid was a rich purple,
something of a candle-lit passage
in the smooth, still libertine ocean
of the swirl of grapes hanging from rooftops.
These maroon creepers
around his hand of mercy.
Pelets of simple redness
and a colour-blinded antidote.
Remnants of her skin on the clock,
seconds to the entrance of Thames.
Her persona washed upon shore,
dried and deteriorated on the white sand.
Author notes
Option 7: dark
I know this is pretty typical but I was in an....odd mood. ehe...

I don't know what you were going for here but it gave me the feeling of a rite of passage or even literally, having to pass the older kids in the hallways or corridors in high school, rather than in the alley ways. Suggestions: pellets? washed up on the shore.
Thanks for letting me read your work.

Hmm, I am ashamed to say I'm not quite sure I follow, but my stupidity does not prevent your imagery from jumping off the screen. Especially colours - very vivid.
Thanks for your entry and good luck in the contests
Take care x -
Very descriptive.
Perhaps too descriptive.
Still, it was lovely. =)
