I wish I see.
With dainty fishy
eyes i see.
A book of tainted dreams and lies.
So there in the water a silent,
distant sound I hear.
A rippling near.
Fishy eyes and dainty soul breaking cries.
Quiet and yelping so loud and clear.
So very near, I hope I fear.
I wait and see. With laughing to be
a silent crystal sound I
wish and wish.
I wish I could see the way you see.
See through me.
See through these eyes.
See through laughter, happiness.
Distant and profound.
See through cyrstal laughs and silent sounds.

this is a really intriguing poem, full of really great imagery and rhyming. i just keep reading it through again and again, trying to see through the layers to the meaning and message. mysterious and beautifully written, and the flow is perfect. intricate piece!

lol.. uhh
wow. i really didn't think it was that good. in all honesty i didn't really have any idea what i was writing when i wrote it (like most of my writing). i just put my pen down and wrote what went into my head... it's all subconsious but i'm glad you liked it! and i have to agree with you, i love the way it rhymes and it is really really interesting to read... i still don't think it's that great though..
