Poems without meanings,
Mind without thoughts,
Sound without words,
Like Aye! Ah! Oh! It hurts,
Sometimes words are tired,
Thoughts are dull and dark,
Heart is full of sorrow,
Wandering for a spark,
All the words are empty,
All the thoughts perplexed,
Words are bound to meanings,
Meanings which are fixed,
Ah! when one is smiling,
Having sorrows deep,
Looking gay and happy,
Like a goat or sheep,
Having cracks in thinking,
Cramps in brain and heart,
How can he be able?
To write a pleasing thought

This poem, the feelings around it, its beatiful but yet a little drop of dark, it speaks the truth!

I had to come back to this one and comment again...this one line comes to my mind over and over...'sound without words'...this speaks to my soul, Ahkam...this one line...and it keeps running backwards and forwards in my thoughts...words without sound, sound without words...you have written some very profound thoughts here, my friend.. be well, Rhonda

perhaps if he dreams of happiness, then he could write something in hope. this poem carries so much of hurt, regrets and dissapointment in it. i think it is a phase of life that everyone goes through. they way we are forced to smile while our hearts bleed and our breath is as silence as death. nice write ahkam. miss you. being of nothingness, the nothingness of being. what is being? mortal or individual? someday we all perish and become dust, then we should ask the dust...

Oh, Ahkam, this is really one of your best...and I can see it comes from your heart. Even in your times of no pleasing thoughts and nothingness of being, you have placed effective words to make one stop, and just breathe, and ponder the weight of what must have caused this sorrow and dullnes of spirit. These thoughts are not as shallow as you may think. They seem more from a mind overwhelmed with thoughts; so tightly packed that placing even these few here barely scratches the surface. Peace to you, my friend, Rhonda .... ..(one typo: "looking 'gay' and happy"; doesn't take away any of the emotive power of the words though.)
